SprayBid Privacy Policy

Information stored on the device

SprayBid stores quote and business information locally on the user's device. This may include:

• customer name, phone number, and email address;
• job address;
• quote services, square footage, rates, costs, margins, status, and follow-up dates;
• business name, business phone number, business email address, estimate notes, and default pricing settings.

When information may leave the device

SprayBid does not sell personal information. Information may leave the device only when the user takes an action that requires another app or service:

• Estimate sharing: when the user shares an estimate as text, PDF, SMS, email, or through the Android share sheet, the selected destination receives the shared estimate information.
• Follow-up messages: when the user taps Text customer or Email customer, SprayBid opens the device's SMS or email app with the customer's phone number or email address and a prefilled follow-up message. The user chooses whether to send it.
• Backups and exports: when the user creates a backup or exports quote data, the user chooses where that file or shared content goes. Exported files may contain customer contact details, job addresses, pricing, and profit information.
• Restore: when the user restores a backup, the selected backup file is read by SprayBid to restore local app data.
• Remote Measure and maps: when the user searches an address or opens the in-app map measurement tool, the job address may be sent to third-party map/geocoding providers so the app can show map imagery and address results. SprayBid does not operate its own map server and does not store map search results outside the local quote workflow.
• Open address in Maps: when the user opens an address in a maps app or browser, the selected maps provider may process the address under its own privacy policy.

Third-party services

SprayBid may use third-party services only for user-initiated device features, such as map imagery, address geocoding, SMS, email, PDF sharing, file picking, and Android sharing. These services are controlled by the user's device, selected apps, or the relevant map/geocoding provider.

Data retention and deletion

Quote data stays on the device until the user deletes it, clears app data, restores over it, or uninstalls the app. Automatic application backup is disabled. Manually exported backups remain wherever the user chose to save or share them.

Security

SprayBid uses local device storage and Android's normal app sandboxing. Users should protect their device with a passcode, biometric lock, or other device security. Exported backups and shared files are controlled by the user and should be shared only with trusted destinations.

Children's privacy

SprayBid is intended for business quoting and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if SprayBid's features or data practices change. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
